Ductile steel is a combination of select alloys that give it higher weight capacities than cast iron, and is more economical than drop forged steel. It can be known as malleable iron, meaning it will flex rather than cracking or breaking when submitted to an extreme shock load. It is also an abrasion resistant wheel.
Common Applications: Platform Trucks, Material Handling Carts, A-Frame Carts, Freight Terminal Dollies, Ground Support Equipment, Gantries and Hoppers, Trash Containers.
*Please note temperature ratings are dependent upon the bearing selected. Unless noted otherwise in the options, bearings with have a 180°F temperature rating.
